About Us
Inspired, in his twenties, by an extended trip to India, Robin established Trade Winds in 1991. He has been collecting and trading handicrafts and precious metals ever since.
Robin's exuberant, life loving personality and passion for travel has led to some life-long friendships with small producers, craftsmen and women.
His love for individually crafted items has always shone through.
Trade winds are committed to the principles of fair trade and endeavour to source goods directly from individual makers.
Robin lives in the Weald of Kent with Sarah. They can be found at local fairs and festivals with their colourful and unique stall.
